Underwriting Assistant

Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesImpact Staffing International (ISI) is looking for an entry-level Underwriting Assistant to work a 1-year contract hybrid role with 3 days a week onsite for a globally recognized company in Broomfield, Colorado. This position is responsible for entering new business applications, initiating renewal application processes, processing term letters, and distributing applications to support the underwriting process. This role also requires reviewing correspondences, records, and reports on select routine matters for processing to ensure the team remains compliant. This position will be assisting in running pre-defined statistical reports on new business and renewal applications processed to inform underwriter managers on the current business. They are looking for someone who can help prepare monthly renewal and anniversary reports for managers to determine new and existing business opportunities, maintain the procedure manual to help the team to determine rate classifications and assign rates to pending applications, and process and scan documents for record and file them electronically to ensure easy access for review of appropriate underwriting documents.Required Skills and Background:1-2 years of experience in data entry or related field BA DegreePhysical Demands:Sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.Client Benefits Include:Health, dental, and medical insurance401(K)Weekly payAmazing company culture
