Hybrid schedule available after training (3 days onsite/2 days remote)LBX Company LLC, maker of Link-Belt excavators, forestry, demolition, and scrap/material handling equipment, has an immediate opening for a Senior Supply Chain and Operations Manager in our Supply Chain department.Position Summary:This position will be responsible for the oversight of all aspects within LBX's supply chain, warehousing, and facilities management to ensure the tactical operations and strategic objectives of each function are successfully executed. Responsible for development and management of staff, while maintaining a SMART and HEALTHY work environment. Fosters cross-functional relationships across the entire organization, by supporting unique needs of various departments.This position supports LBX's overall business growth by providing leadership in transforming the organization and improving operational capabilities, optimizing processes utilizing latest technology and systems, and improving standards of performance and quality by reflecting the strategic anchors and core values of LBX.Essential Functions:40% - Development and implementation of strategic and tactical business plansOversee the implementation of the LBX strategic plan for sourcing, material supply and inventory, production capacity (external), logistics, sales and operations planning (S&OP), and availability to meet sales demand.Develop and implement effective supply chain and warehouse plans that meet the following objectives:Designed to achieve LBX's MTP/LTP goals, with capabilities to meet or exceed market and customer requirements for cost, quality and responsiveness.Monitors current market trends and world-wide events, remains agile in order to manage potential risk of changing market needs or procurement constraints.Provides solutions for alternative actions when necessary.Cultivate and maintain an optimized Parts Depot. This includes ensuring necessary labor resources are maintained and trained, optimization of warehouse capacity and layout to meet future parts sales goals, ensuring cost reduction and inventory control management without compromising parts sales.Provide regular reporting on supplier evaluations, selection and performance reporting, contract negotiations, price management, and cost savings metrics.30% - Developing and managing relationshipsDevelop and foster internal cross-functional relationships ensuring owned processes and communication supports other LBX departments and overall business growth.Develop and foster supplier and vendor relationships ensuring internal processes and communication doesn't result in roadblocks in supplier results.Responsible for development and management of staff, while maintaining a SMART and HEALTHY work environment. Lead by example. Coach and mentor staff with intent of raising staff's ability to exceed expectations and create opportunities for advancement.20% - Process improvement and change managementLead efforts to continuously strive for increased use of technology and systems to improve operational efficiencies and controls in the areas of planning, purchasing, cost reductions, spend management, inventory management, distribution/transportation and order fulfillment.Drives innovation and continuous improvement, by being a champion of change management to support operational improvements.10% - Facilities management, maintenance and safetyEnsures all LBX facilities are well maintained with necessary equipment to provide a productive work environment & are reflective of LBX culture. Ensures processes and procedures are in place & followed to provide a safe work environment for all employees.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Must be able to interact and cooperate with all company employees by building trust, valuing others, and demonstrating effective communication.Ability to drive execution, foster innovation, provide premium solutions, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.Understand and work with different cultures and environments, including Japanese and Brazilian cultures.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering or LogisticsSeven (7) years' work related experience in supply chain management or warehouse management.APICS or CPM/CPSM certification a plus.Skilled in procurement, negotiations management practices, distribution management, demand planning and inventory management techniques.Strong software skills including Microsoft Office, O365, ERP and Warehouse Management Systems. Travel Expectations:This role can expect to travel approximately 10% of the time both domestically and internationally.Working Conditions:This role requires spending time in a seated position while working at a computer station for extended periods of time.
