This team is dedicated to training and advancing its attorneys' professional experience and knowledge.ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage cases in insurance defense, general liability, auto/transportation liability, and NYS Labor Law construction matters, showcasing your expertise and strategic acumen.Partner with attorneys, team members, and seasoned Partners on high-impact legal projects, fostering a dynamic, team-oriented environment.Regularly handle court appearances and depositions, demonstrating your litigation skills and dedication to each case.Engage closely with clients, delivering clear, timely updates and guidance to keep them informed every step of the way.QualificationsJD from an ABA-accredited law schoolActive membership in good standing with the New York State Bar8+ years of substantial litigation experienceExperience with insurance defense, premises liability, and general liabilityDemonstrated experience as first and/or second chair strongly desiredAdvanced understanding of NY Construction Law (Labor Law §§200, 240, 241) preferred.Experience with OSHA proceedings and regulatory compliance preferred.Background in Corporation Counsel or District Attorney's Office a plusStrong business acumen and project management capabilitiesTech-savvy with proficiency in legal research tools and case management software
