Copyright Associate - Music Industry Practice - New YorkOur client is a top Am law firm, seeking an associate for its highly-regarded Copyright, Music and Entertainment team in New York. The salary for this position is between $245k to $340k per year.Quallifications4-6 years of experience in copyright transactional law.Experience negotiating and drafting IP-related agreements and managing transactions.Experience licensing, buying and/or selling music or other IP assets is required. Experience with music and entertainment matters strongly preferred. Excellent communication skills; team focused. Strong academic credentials; New York bar admission or ability to become admitted.All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
