Maintenance Technician

Technical Source is seeking a skilled Process Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on process equipment in a regulated pharmaceutical environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and control systems, as well as experience with GMP compliance and lean manufacturing principles.Key Responsibilities:Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on process equipment, including bioreactors, centrifuges, ultrafiltration skids, Alfa Laval pumps, parts washers, autoclaves, isolators, and fillers.Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to ensure minimal downtime.Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.Provide recommendations to improve preventative maintenance plans and optimize equipment reliability.Contribute to the development and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for process maintenance activities.Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation in compliance with GMP and safety regulations.Follow all safety protocols and report any hazardous conditions to management or Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS).Support site operations and emergency work orders during off-hours as needed.Conduct spare parts assessments and inventory management to ensure equipment availability.Participate in required safety and health training.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems in a manufacturing environment.Familiarity with GMP requirements and regulatory compliance.Strong problem-solving and time management skills.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly (both written and oral).Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.Detail-oriented with the ability to train and mentor others.
