Title: Compensation & Data Analyst Location: Seattle, WA - Hybrid! Employment Type: Contract (6-12 months) Pay Range: $30-$36/hr Benefits: Medical, vision, and dental insurance, 401K, sick leave, and employee assistance program, pet insurance and opportunity to opt into paid holidays and PTO. Role & Responsibilities: Conducts analysis, development, and administration of compensation programs, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry standards.Reviews employee salaries and provides recommendations and classifications for new hires and promotional increases, considering internal equity, market trends, collective bargaining agreements, and company guidelines.Serves as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding pay, job titles, contracts, and related concerns. Troubleshoots issues and partners with HR colleagues to ensure accurate compensation, escalating complex cases when necessary. Plays a key role in the annual salary review process for both union and non-union employees by analyzing data, identifying necessary adjustments, and implementing updates in compliance with company policies and past practices.Ensures accurate documentation of employee pay, title and related attributes by auditing and reviewing data and initiating updates to internal systems.Ensure SOX and internal audit compliance by running audit reports, and researching and correcting errors in pay, contract or title issues as they are discovered during regular audits. Supports global compensation benchmarking by participating in industry surveys and analyzing market data to assess the competitiveness of total rewards programs.Contributes to research initiatives and special projects related to salary administration, HR policy development, and other compensation-related topics.Essential Qualifications:2+ years' experience in a financial, payroll or compensation analyst roleBachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experienceAdvanced excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data analysis skills)Solid analytical, problem-solving, customer service and data research skillsStrong organizational skills with excellent attention to detailBonus Qualifications: Compensation knowledge, including state and federal Wage and Hour lawsExperience conducting salary analyses and explaining results to employees and managementExperience in an international, unionized environmentWHY AVERRO?Averro is a Veteran-Owned organization dedicated to delivering innovative talent solutions, business consulting and technology services that propel businesses and careers forward.
