BBS provides high-quality tailored solutions, with full operations capabilities and service support that covers every need.Objective:Directs and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in regional Procurement departments (USA, Mexico). Creates and maintains strong supplier relationships, including regularly scheduled audits of approved suppliers. Provide leadership to all direct reports.Responsibilities: Procurement ManagementOversee procurement activities in NAFTA, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, cost control, and process optimization, including functional leadership.Establish and roll out PAS Procurement policies and procedures to guide Procurement towards long-term business objectives.Develop appropriate strategies to ensure applicability, successful optimization of Procurement systems and successful completion of projects.Develop a solid, trusting relationship at Management levels of suppliers aimed at driving strategic value.Establish a process to communicate issues and performance against targets.Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the BBSC Automation Code of Business Conduct.Maintain, Train, and improve upon existing ISO13485 audit findings and systems.Procurement StrategyDevelop and implement strategies for NAFTA, ensuring alignment with global strategies and supporting business objectives.Drive BBS Automation regional Procurement performance to excellence.Identify opportunities to improve Procurement processes to improve time to market.Supplier ManagementBuild and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality, delivery, and service levels meet company standards. Monitor the regional souring market and adapt when required to the changing environment.Develop manufacturing partners in the region (USA, Mexico) to support BBS Automation needs.Evaluate vendors on time and quality performance.Risk ManagementIdentify and assess potential risks in the supply chain, develop mitigation plans, and ensure supply chain stability and continuity including supplier quality assurance and compliance managementCross-functional CollaborationWork closely with production, sales, finance, and other departments to ensure efficient supply chain operations and support overall business development.Ensure "Early Involvement of Procurement" by supporting applications engineering by negotiating high value items during the quotation phaseSupport Engineering, Project Management and Manufacturing throughout the project cycle to provide high quality parts on time and within budgetTeam LeadershipLead and manage the Procurement team, enhancing their professional capabilities and work efficiency.Cost ControlReduce procurement and operational costs by optimizing procurement strategies and supply chain processes including quality targets, and all on time delivery metrics to align to business requirements.Drive manufacturing outsourcing strategy to best-cost countries to achieve best cost at best quality and delivery for manufactured components with a clear focus on total cost of ownership.Data Analysis and ReportingMonitor supply chain performance through data analysis and provide regular reports to senior managementQualifications: Education and Experience:Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields.Experience: Minimum of 10 years of Procurement / Supply Chain Management experience, with at least 5 years in the manufacturing or automation / special machinery industry.
