Architectural Drafter

Stillwater Dwellings is a residential design firm specializing in high-end prefabricated contemporary homes. We are currently working on projects throughout the Western US. We are seeking a full time Architectural Drafter with 5+ years of experience to add to our growing design studio team. The ideal candidate should have both a residential drafting and technical background. We are looking for an ambitious individual with a strong drive to learn, improve, and grow with us.RESPONSIBILITIESUtilize AutoCAD to draft and develop architectural drawings.Handle a fast-paced work schedule and maintain a high level of accuracy, while balancing multiple projects and priorities at any given time.Work in support of the Project Architect to ensure that projects are completed in a timely fashion.Assist the Design Studio with process improvement tasks including template revisions, CAD block development, layer management, and related tasksAssist the Design Studio with drawings from concept design through construction documents.QUALIFICATIONSArchitectural, Construction or Technical degree from an accredited collegiate institution.3+ years of applicable drafting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Professional experience working on construction documents, especially high-end, single family residential design and wood frame construction.Knowledge of residential building codes, standards and procedures.Must be highly proficient in AutoCAD.Highly organized and detail oriented with excellent communication skills.COMPENSATIONSalary Range: $65,000-$75,000 DOEFull Benefits PackageMatching 401KPlease send a cover letter, resume and portfolio to careers@ with Architectural Drafter in the subject line.
