Compliance Officer

JCW is partnering with a local Commercial Bank in the NYC area who is looking to bring on a new Compliance Officer to their team. This position will be focused within the bank's Consumer Compliance function.ResponsibilitiesContribute to the firm's overall Compliance Program.Assist with the management of Compliance Testing and Monitoring for consumer protection rules/regulations.Advise Senior Management of the bank on relevant Compliance topics including regulatory changes and compliance best practices.Assisting with the development and implementation of new Compliance policies and procedures.Identifying and escalating potential red flags within the Banks Compliance function.Qualifications6+ years of Consumer Compliance experience.Strong knowledge of Consumer Compliance regulations including Reg DD, Reg E, Reg CC, ECOA and RESPA, among others.Prior experience working with Regulatory bodies, specifically the FDIC.CRCM or JD highly preferred
