Corporate Safety Manager

Allied Painting, Inc. is currently seeking a Contractor Safety Manager. This position is based out of our main office located in Williamstown, NJ. Allied Painting, Inc. is an industrial painting contractor which specializes in the cleaning and painting large scale structures such as bridges, water tanks, and industrial plants. The successful candidate must be able to manage work sites and crews and have knowledge of all State, Federal and OSHA regulations. Responsibilities:· Enforcing compliance with regulations and reviewing health and safety State, Federal and OSHA guidelines and regulations.· Provides safety and health, accident prevention and investigation training for managers, supervisors, and crew. · Oversee and enforce jobsite safety policies and protocols.· Conduct daily toolbox meetings.· Prepare daily inspections and reports.· Conducts safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify correction action, and implement follow up assessments.Skills/ requirements:· A minimum of 3-5 years of qualified project safety experience on large infrastructure projects.· Experience with OSHA and Environmental compliance and regulation.· Risk assessment/management.· Ability to work independently.Valid Certification (one of the following):CHSTOHST CSP ASPCIHNational Safety Council's Advanced Safety CertificateValid Certification:OSHA 500 PreferredLead Competent Person PreferredNACE Certified Preferred
