We value our relationships with all trading partners, clients, and suppliers, attributing our continued success to our reputation for honesty and integrity.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role located in New York, NY. The Sourcing Production Manager will oversee day-to-day production management, ensure quality control, manage supply chain processes, and handle procurement. The role involves negotiating with suppliers, coordinating with the design team, and ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and innovation.Role ResponsibilitiesAct as a key liaison for daily global sourcing operations, ensuring smooth coordination with cross-functional partners, overseas offices, vendors, and buyers.Maintain and manage the seasonal production calendar to meet all deadlines.Demonstrate strong negotiation and costing skills, ensuring financial targets are met for assigned categories.Update and track product costs, coordinating with overseas offices to evaluate pricing options.Align sourcing and production tasks to achieve on-time delivery and quality standards for the product approval process.Oversee and manage the product approval process for assigned categories.Monitor and expedite sample development, proactively addressing any delays or challenges.Identify and implement opportunities to improve sourcing efficiencies and present recommendations to management.Collaborate with sales teams and buyers to align production with market demand and business objectives.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree required.5+ years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, or production roles, preferably in home textiles.Strong cost analysis and negotiation skills.Skills and Behaviors:Experience as a production supervisor or production assistant is preferred.Ability to multitask while maintaining a strategic focus on overall business goals.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Independent problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative.Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to engage with all levels of the organization.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.SalaryDOEEqual Opportunity Employer:We are an equal-opportunity employer and welcome all qualified candidates to apply regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other legally protected status.
