Teaching Assistant

Job Title: Teacher's Assistant/Teacher's Aid MUST HAVES:High School Diploma or GED.One year of experience working with children age birth to 5Must have flexibility with work schedule to accommodate hours of operations for all centers.Experience adapting curriculum to meet the needs of all children, including at-risk, special needs, and culturally diverse populations.The ability to use sound judgement to make well thought-out and informed decisions, the ability to apply knowledge and understanding, and use critical thinking skills to problem solve situations that involve several variables.Must be able to pass background test/ drug test and Federal fingerprinting have a valid driver's license. Day to Day:Insight Global is seeking onsite Teacher Aides in Columbus, OH. The day to day will consist of being responsible for supporting the safety and active supervision of children during all parts of the daily routine. Assist with all part of the daily routine such as but not limited to arrival/departure, mealtime, handwashing, toileting (this could include planning/recall, work time, small and large group, and outdoor play. Provide coverage of breaks and lunches for teaching staff, in coordination with the Center Coordinator. Ensure adult/child ratio is always maintained, ensuring all children are within sight and sound at all times. Compensation:$15/hr to $25/hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
