Analytica is seeking an experienced federal SeniorProposal Manager to join its growth team and support a dynamic, entrepreneurial growing organization. The Proposal Manager will lead federal RFP / RFQ / RFI proposal preparation, development, reviews, and production activities. The ideal candidate should be able to thrive in a dynamic, mid-sized business where every member has a direct impact in the organization's success.This will be a hybrid position based out of Bethesda, MD with expectations of in office attendance of at least 4 days a Month.Analytica has been recognized by Inc. We offer competitive compensation with opportunities for bonuses, employer paid health care, training and development funds, and 401k match.Responsibilities Include:Manage proposals, including all aspects of proposal development: pre-proposal planning activities, kick-off meeting, win theme development, schedule management, action/issue tracking, proposal structure, compliance oversight, writing instructions and team guidance, review team coordination, and production oversight.Lead/facilitate/drive discussion during solution strategy sessions, capturing and helping document customer hot buttons, win themes, our approach/solution, and features and benefits at the level we need for a compelling proposal response.Write sections, as appropriate, reflecting our expertise and experience, interviewing corporate sources and/or reviewing existing collateral, to convey a thorough understanding of client needs and company solutions.Develop targeted questions, consult with technical and program management staff to extract information necessary to develop technical and managerial solutions. Work with technical staff to develop strategic win themes to carry over from statement of qualifications, proposals, and interview presentations.Collaborate with capture leads; join capture and pipeline calls, and opportunity gate reviews.Help maintain repository of reusable content, project profiles, experience matrices/overviews, capability statements, etc. Collaborate with Delivery to develop project narratives, performance proofs and client testimonials.Identify, develop and implement improvements in the proposal and capture process that will prepare the organization to eventually graduate from small business competitions to full and open competitions.Other duties may also include developing and managing internal content assets - such as past performance, reusable content, messaging and branding for company content assets ranging from capability statements, presentations, website, and social mediaParticipate in planning and facilitating Orals and Technical challenges to prepare teams.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in relevant field. Training in Shipley and Proposal methodologies highly preferred. APMP certifications (e.g., CF.APMP and CP.APMP) a plus.8+ years demonstrated experience managing and winning federal proposals in a defined proposal, grant or capture roleAbility to work well under tight deadlines in logical, process-oriented approach while maintain the flexibility our industry demands when procurement circumstances change.Confidence and ability to lead proactively a proposal from decision gate approval to final proposal submission.English writing and Microsoft Word styles and structures expertise for proposals; this includes the ability to research and synthesize information from multiple sources (subject matter experts, previous proposals, publicly available materials) into a cohesive, easy-to-read, and persuasive final productStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of management with a positive attitude; ability to project a confident leadership image to peers, partners, and senior management. Demonstrated ability to counsel and effectively influence others with and without authorityHigh degree of proficiency with Microsoft platform (Word/Teams/SharePoint/Planner) and how to leverage technology for efficiency and automation.
