Tools Designer

We are seeking an Equipment & Tool Designer Technician to join our team in Tukwila, WA. This role will focus on the post-processing of SLA (Stereolithography) parts, ensuring high-quality finishes and functional performance. You will be responsible for cleaning, curing, sanding, priming, and finishing SLA components to meet customer specifications and engineering requirements. Additional responsibilities include operating and maintaining SLA equipment, preparing build files, and collaborating with customers on design for additive manufacturing.Must haves:• Hands-on experience with post-processing of SLA and other AM parts.• Proficiency in using hand tools and precision measuring equipment.• Understanding of adhesives, paints, and surface finishing techniques for AM materials.• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in post-processing quality control.• Ability to read and interpret 2D/3D CAD drawings for post-processing requirementsPreferred:• Additive Manufacturing experience• Design experience; prototyping and part design• Experience with spray painting and finishing models or assemblies• Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced R&D environment• Ability to collaborate with both our team and our customers• Focus on customer needs and ability to work directly with customers towards goals
