Electrical Superintendent (San Antonio, TX)

CSE Electric is in a high growth mode and we are looking for a qualified Superintendent to support our construction infrastructure in San Antonio, TX.Reporting to the San Antonio area General Superintendent (Project Resource Director), the CSE Superintendent is responsible for the scheduling, coordinating, and supervising of all onsite electrical crew members along with the project manager assigned to that specific project for their assigned construction jobs. The Superintendent is accountable for the overall success of the job and is gauged against the goals and expectations of the general contractor client, company and employees for each project.Some of the main responsibilities for the Superintendent include:Determine method of construction, labor needs, material quantities, equipment needs, temporary power sources, and work scheduleMonitor work performance and productivity of crew members as assigned to ensure project rules, procedures, and safety requirements are maintainedAdjust schedules and targets on the project as needs for project changesMaintain communication with project staff, engineering, and supply chain management to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule.Assist in the reporting of the job's progress to the Project Manager; maintain communication with other departments as requiredEnsure all project work is completed in accordance with specifications, schedule, and safetyReview projected progress and completion schedules, identify potential issues and resolve or escalateThe Superintendent requires a State of Texas TDLR Journeyman Electrician license and has a valid Texas Drivers License. The position is a full-time, salaried/exempt level role. Compensation will start at $100,000 and will include a vehicle allowance and company provided cellphone, IPad tablet and/or laptop computer. The typical work schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 3:30pm, and is based in our home office (located at 5150 Service Center Dr, San Antonio, TX 78218).Please note we will only consider applicants who currently reside in the State of Texas.
