As a trusted partner at nearly three million customer locations, they strive to deliver continuous innovation in scientific-based solutions worldwideAs the medical device market changes our client continues investing heavily in its Healthcare business unit's expansion and are looking to hire a Vice President - Global Supply Chain tasked with building an end-to-end supply chain infrastructure for an innovative new product offering. This is a disruptive technology, unlike its competitors, unique to the market that will require the success individual to build deliverables such as sourcing, production, distributions, inventory management and full planning - both supply/demand, contract manufacturing, system specification and when required establishing in-house manufacturing.Key tasks includeDefine business objectives and strategy for the new businessIdentify key deliverables including sourcing, production, distribution & Inventory managementSet financial budget for the setup of end-to-end supply chainEstablish location strategy (location for sourcing, manufacturing, distributions centres etc)Establish Logistics and Transportation strategyEstablish Technology Infrastructure (Identify SC Systems (Tracking and Analytics)Establish and Build Vendor and Supplier relationshipsEstablish Metrics to manage and ensure deliverablesTo build and lead initial integration team and subsequent new infrastructureTo be considered for this opportunity you will need to be degree educated in Engineering or Supply chain subjects, have a strong mechanical understanding and have a successful Supply Chain or Operational leadership background, within the MEDICAL DEVICE or sterilisation sector.It is essential to demonstrate past history establishing and building operational infrastructure including, supply chain, logistics and transportation, planning, procurement (Including suppliers and contract manufacturers) as well as developing systems to cope with a global expansion of an organisation worldwide.This is a unique opportunity for an operational, supply chain focused individual to have a significant impact on the success of a newly established product within a global focused organisation that will continue to invest and grow their portfolio offering.
