To learn more, visit or follow @newmark.We are seeking a Production Analyst with 1-3 years of commercial real estate experience to join a growing Capital Markets team in Philadelphia. The analyst will be responsible for supporting the team in all aspects of sourcing, structuring, and closing multifamily and commercial real estate loans. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing financial, underwriting, and market analysis to assist in the evaluation and processing of transactions. The analyst will command the details of various lending programs, including Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. They will collaborate across Newmark's platform and have extensive contact with clients - this includes property owners, investors, and lenders locally and nationally. This is an excellent position to learn the commercial real estate business with continued mentorship from senior team members, with the goal of advancement within the team over time. The position is located in Center City Philadelphia, PA.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and interpret property-level financial statements including rent rolls, operating statements, and budgets.Conduct market analysis and research to support and determine the feasibility of transactions. This includes utilizing resources such as CoStar, Yardi, and REIS. Prepare formal, detailed loan proposals and loan submission packages for internal and external lending sources.Assist with all aspects of the loan closing process. This includes preparing applications, collecting and organizing due diligence, working with third-party vendors (appraisal, engineering, environmental), interacting with counsel, learning legal documents, and coordinating with all parties to ensure timelines are met. Learn and command the details of various internal and external loan programs, including Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. Develop and maintain strong relationships with underwriting, closing, investment sales, and asset management departments. Work closely with the team to develop and pursue new relationships, and to provide exceptional service to existing relationships of the firm.
