We are currently looking for an experienced IT - Business Analyst to join our team with one of our clients. Title: IT - Business AnalystLocation: Newark, CA (Onsite Role)Contract position Key Responsibilities:Jira & Data Analytics Expertise: Act as an SME for Jira workflows, creating and managing boards, and developing Tableau dashboards for KPI reporting.Custom Reporting & Dashboards: Build tailored reports and dashboards in Jira and Success Factors to monitor workforce capacity, utilization, and productivity trends.Workforce Planning & Analysis: Conduct data discovery and modeling to support workforce planning and resource allocation decisions.Cycle Planning & Scenario Analysis: Assist Program Management Leadership with data-driven cycle planning and scenario reporting.Cross-Functional Alignment: Lead corporate business plan alignment reviews and establish a centralized repository for plan management.User Training & Support: Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support for Jira and Success Factors users, enhancing processes and troubleshooting issues.Process Documentation & Optimization: Document workflows, create playbooks, and implement best practices to improve efficiency.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business units to interpret their needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements for enhancements in Jira and Success Factors.Workforce Program Evaluation: Develop frameworks to assess workforce allocation trends, balance risks, and identify operational opportunities.Continuous Improvement & Automation: Identify automation capabilities and lead efforts to enhance processes continuously.Qualifications:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in financial and workforce planning.Proficient in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and other data visualization tools.Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience in fast-paced environments, with the ability to create processes and playbooks.Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time-management skills.Familiarity with HRIS systems, integration, and data flow management.Knowledgeable in using tools such as Jira, SuccessFactors, and financial analytics platforms.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Systems Administration, or a related field is required.2-4 years of experience in data analysis, systems analysis, strategic planning, or business intelligence reporting is preferred.A Master's degree (MBA or MS) is a plus.Pay for this position is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
