Production Planner

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team. This role is responsible for scheduling and coordinating production activities, ensuring on-time delivery, and optimizing resource utilization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with project coordination, and a customer-focused mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups) is essential for this position.Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer deadlines and optimize efficiency.Coordinate with operations, procurement, and quality teams to ensure material availability and smooth production flow.Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing updates on production timelines and order status.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to prevent shortages or overstock situations.Utilize Excel functions such as Pivot Tables and V-Lookups to analyze production data, track performance, and generate reports.Assist in project coordination by managing multiple production runs and ensuring alignment with customer expectations.Identify potential production delays and proactively implement solutions to minimize disruptions.Maintain accurate production records and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.Qualifications:2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain management (preferably in a food manufacturing or co-packing environment).Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and manage client expectations.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, data analysis).Experience working with ERP/MRP systems is a plus.Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Excellent collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with internal teams and customers.ABOUT ACCURATE PERSONNELDo you need your next job fast?
