Key ResponsibilitiesFacility Maintenance and Operationso Oversee the operation and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC,electrical, plumbing, and infrastructure.o Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure optimalfunctionality.o Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.Vendor and Contractor Managemento Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and service providers for facilityrepairs and upgrades.o Ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.o Monitor and evaluate vendor performance.Safety and Complianceo Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety andenvironmental regulations.o Conduct routine safety audits and address any identified issues.o Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and compliancecertifications.Budgeting and Cost Controlo Develop and manage the facilities budget, ensuring effective cost control.o Track expenseso Prepare reports on facility performance, costs, and project progress.Team Leadershipo Supervise and lead the facilities teamo Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations.o Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.Qualifications? Education: Associate degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field(or equivalent experience).? Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of facilities management experience, preferably in amanufacturing or industrial environment.? Technical Skills: Proficiency in building systems & preventive maintenance? Knowledge: Familiarity with steel manufacturing processes and related facilityrequirements is a strong plus.? Certifications: Certifications in HVAC and in facilities management (e.g., FMP, CFM)preferredKey Competencies? Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.? Excellent organizational and time management abilities.? Effective communication and interpersonal skills.? Leadership capabilities with a focus on teamwork and staff development.
