Come join us and play a key role in revolutionizing the world of hyperscale data centers in Ohio!About the Role of CFM Facility Manager:The ideal CFM Facility Manager will be a dynamic leader with a unique blend of technical problem-solving skills and inspiring leadership qualities. They will coach and mentor a team of 10+ Chief Engineers and Engineers, driving them to achieve perfect uptime for our state-of-the-art customer-supporting infrastructure (exceeding 75MW of critical IT capacity) while also fostering their career growth at 5C.This role involves leading large-scale projects and initiatives: managing deadlines, communicating with stakeholders, and collaborating with partner teams such as construction, engineering, controls, etc. to bring innovative ideas to life. Facility Managers will cultivate strong, positive relationships with vendor partners - holding them accountable to deliver top-tier service to 5C.They will uphold the highest standards in Safety, Security, and Environmental compliance, creating an inclusive and empowering culture for all employees. As key players in our business growth, they will lead recruitment efforts to build a high-performance team - positioning 5C at the forefront of the industry.About the Critical Facilities Maintenance (CFM) Team:Critical Facilities Maintenance (CFM) is comprised of the onsite team members that maintain the power delivery, cooling and general building infrastructure on behalf of our customers ensuring that their services are available without interruption on a continuous (24/7) basis. As a member of the CFM team, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage the maintenance and repair of equipment including Electrical Switchgear, Uninterruptable Power Supplies, Transformers, Batteries, Generators, Chillers, Air Handlers, Fire/Life Safety Equipment and more! Additionally, CFM will also support 5C's growth through support of new installations and capital projects. The CFM team will work along-side diverse team members including controls engineers, project managers, business development, logistics, construction, and security personnel to accomplish 5C's ambitious growth strategy.About 5C:5C Data Centers is an industry-leading data center provider serving hyper scalers, cloud providers, and enterprise customers. With a focus on sustainable and energy-efficient solutions, 5C Data Centers is committed to innovation and customization, meeting the unique needs of each client.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma3+ years of experience in a management position with 5 or more direct reports3+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance2+ years of experience within a critical infrastructure environment.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSAdvanced electrical or mechanical certification or bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline5+ years of experience working in data centers with an emphasis on building and equipment operation3+ years of experience in a management position with 5 or more direct reportsAn excellent understanding of the electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations including systems such as transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, chillers, pumps, air handling units, etc-Experience using data analytics applications to make data driven decisions.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSWalk job sites in uneven terrain.Work at heights and from ladders.Regularly lift and/or move up to 49 pounds; and participate in group lifts for 50 pounds or more.Work shifts longer than eight hours in duration.Coordinate body movements when using tools or equipmentReach and stretch to position equipment and fixtures while maintaining balanceBend or twist the body into unusual positions while workingIntermittently perform physical tasks /manual laborUse hands to manipulate small wires and objectsPush or pull heavy objects into positionWork in a noisy environment with using proper hearing protectionWORK SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:-The CFM Facility Manager role is classified as exempt (salaried)-Will generally work between 40-45 hours per week during normal business hours and will observe all holidays designated by 5C.Will need to modify schedule on a biweekly basis to meet with night shift team members.-May be asked to modify schedule to observe critical works or other site impacting events at management's discretion.Will be expected to participate in the site CFM on-call rotating schedule - answering phone calls and arriving onsite during non-business hours (night shift, weekends, and holidays) events when warranted or at management's discretion during periods when they are designated as the on-call contact.
