Then this Controller opportunity could be the right fit for you.Responsibilities:Prepare budgeting reports (for the company and for each department)Applied experience using finance and accounting skills in labor-based consumer goods manufacturingKnowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, financial markets, banking, and analysis/reporting of financial dataManage the monthly accounting closeFinancial ReportingMaintain corporate accounting policiesSupervise employees performing financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections, payroll, and budgeting dutiesTo prepare and maintain the plant P&L, annual budgets, maintain GAAP control of financial responsibilities and provide analytical support to all plant functions and plant internal customersOversee all State Sales & Use Tax Filings.Carry out various ad-hoc projects related to manufacturing operations cost and expense analysis that may from time to time be allocated to the Finance department.Ensuring compliance with financial and accounting regulationsImplement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, adhering to national and local legal standards while remaining knowledgeable of proposed legislationDevelop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflowsOversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivityQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA preferredManufacturing industry experienceExperience in both private and public accountingExperience with ERP systemsMonthly financial statement and account analysisThorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and legislationComputer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)Benefits:Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePaid time offAsk for Jasleenjasleen@Ajulia Executive Search is a search firm specializing in Manufacturing, Finance, IT, Legal and Pharmaceutical positions.
