We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Project Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing precise and comprehensive cost estimates for civil construction projects. Your expertise in analyzing project plans, collaborating with key stakeholders, and leveraging estimating software will be critical in ensuring project success.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop accurate and detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects.Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to determine scope, materials, and labor requirements.Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather essential information for cost estimation.Utilize estimating software such as Excel and InSite to create precise, data-driven estimates.Conduct site visits to assess conditions and collect additional project details.Prepare and submit bid packages, ensuring competitive and well-structured proposals.Participate in pre-bid meetings and negotiate with potential clients to secure projects.Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and provide cost control recommendations.Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil EngineeringProfessional Engineering License (P.E.) preferred.Proven experience in construction estimating and cost controlProficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software.Strong negotiation skills with the ability to engage subcontractors and suppliers effectively.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to ensure accuracy in cost assessments.Familiarity with construction site operations and industry best practices.Keen attention to detail to maintain precision in estimates and proposals.Why Join Us?As a Project Estimator, you will play a vital role in driving our company's success by ensuring projects are accurately budgeted and efficiently managed.
