Merchandise Planner

Location: Reynoldsburg, OH Duration: 04 Months Contract ResponsibilitiesEntry level individual contributor position that serves as the business manager for a smaller or less complex book of business (collection of Sub-Brands or Classes of merchandise). Responsible for translating the Merchants? vision into viable plans and profitable results.Develops and maintains sales, inventory and margin plans that tie to financial targets for an assigned book of business. Planning responsibilities will include Sub-Brand, Category/Class, and assortment plans. Partners with the Merchant & Planner tooptimizes the assortment by cluster and channels of distribution (Stores, Internet, Catalogue, Wholesale).Collaborate with the Demand Forecaster to ensure that demand plans incorporate statistically based forecasts, merchandise plans and business knowledge.
