Your role is crucial in maintaining the operational efficiency of the business by sourcing and negotiating with suppliers.Starting Salary: $60,000.00 / yearLocation: ONSITEAlpharetta, GA 30004Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pmPurchasing Buyer ResponsibilitiesSupplier Management: Build and maintain supplier relationships through evaluation and market research.Negotiation: Secure favorable terms and pricing while maintaining quality standards.Order Processing: Oversee purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.Budget Management: Track purchasing budgets and analyze spending trends to inform forecasts.Quality Assurance: Verify product quality and ensure compliance with company standards.Inventory Management: Partner with inventory teams to optimize stock levels and reduce surplus.Problem Resolution: Address order discrepancies, delivery issues, and supplier performance concerns.Compliance: Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.Purchasing Buyer QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Proven experience in procurement or purchasing for a manufacturing company.Strong negotiation and communication abilities.Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.Skilled in data analysis and informed decision-making.Analytical and problem-solving expertise.Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities.Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
