The SEO Manager will work closely with the SEO Director and our clients/partners and their teams to ensure that their online presence is optimized for search engines, and that their websites are driving traffic and generating leads. The SEO Manager will work with our internal teams, including Account Directors, Account Executives, and other capability teams, to ensure that our partners receive amazing customer service and support.Mandatory Job Responsibilities:Ensure Client/Partner Success:Lead the development and execution of robust SEO strategies aligned with our clients/partner's business goals.Implement SEO strategies and content strategies with meticulous attention to detail to drive traffic and enhance online visibility.Provide guidance and mentorship to interns, SEO specialists, and SEO strategists.Manage a team of SEO specialists, offering direction to ensure alignment with business objectives.Oversee local listings, review management, and content publication for partner websites.Actively monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics and other SEO software.Create and optimize website content, including meta tags, headers, and page titles.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement SEO best practices.Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify content optimization opportunities.Perform in-depth competitor research to identify areas for improvement.Conduct technical SEO audits to rectify issues hindering website performance.Develop and execute effective link-building strategies to enhance domain authority and search engine rankings.Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and best practices, educating internal and external teams and update Best Practices website as needed.Act as an SEO subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to account teams and clients/partners.Regularly participate in client/partner calls at the franchisor and franchisee level.Continuously update training programs and templates for new team members.Assist the HR team with interviewing and hiring.Share insights and learnings from SEO experiments with the team to improve performance.Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess SEO strategy effectiveness.Uphold ChoiceLocal's high standards for leadership by fostering team morale and actively seeking and acting upon feedback.Complete 2 LTT's per quarter.Obligation to the ChoiceLocal Team:Uphold ChoiceLocal's high leadership standards by monitoring and safeguarding team morale, actively seeking and acting on feedback, providing hands-on support, taking full accountability for both personal and team actions to ensure no one feels unsupported, training new SEO team members during onboarding.Always advocate for your clients/partners must persistently seek solutions that deliver results, navigating challenging situations with honesty, integrity, and optimism, and consistently recognizing the best in clients/partners and team members, particularly during their toughest moments.Continue to learn, test, and teachnew ideas, committing to ongoing personal and professional growth, attending all best practice meetings and trainings, and bringing passion, energy, and creativity to their work, recognizing the impact on our partners and their families.Support the performance of all teams within an account to ensure they meet their KPI goals by using your expertise to provide feedback and develop action plans for teams not achieving these targets, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of the account and network to drive effective strategies.Ensure SEO Specialists and Strategists adhere to conventions by monitoring proper use of project management and file-sharing software, enforcing adherence to Best Practices and deadlines, and spot-checking completed tasks to confirm they are completed thoughtfully and accurately.Serve as the first point of contact for any questions or concerns regarding training, onboarding, or administrative procedures. Address these issues promptly and either provide a solution or connect the Specialist or Strategist with a team member who can assist as quickly as possible.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.5+ years of experience in SEO strategy and execution.Expert knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques.Proficient with tools such as Google Analytics and other SEO tools such as Google Platform Tools (Google Business Profile, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Authenticator, Structured Data Testing), Microsoft Platform Tools, YEXT, Nightwatch, Moz, ScreamingFrog, CrazyEgg CallRail, NinjaCat, Frase, Grammarly, Quillbot, ChatGPT.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong ability to think critically and have an innovative mindset.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make recommendations based on findings.A passion for digital marketing and a willingness to learn and stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices.Qualifications:Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and optimism when facing challenging situations.Ability to think strategically and develop plans.Ability to manage change effectively by adapting to shifting priorities and managing resistance.Ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to manage budget, forecast expenses, and allocate resources effectively.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
