This direct hire opportunity is located in Waukesha. The client prefers the experience be in the food manufacturing industry. Pay is based on experience and starts at $25+/hr. Job PurposeThe Production Analyst is the primary resource in the requirements phase of a production improvement project; representative in the design and development phases of the project; develops and implements solid test plans and test cases/scenarios to accurately test all aspects of the project; ensures final deliverables of a project meet all of the business needs; and maintains detailed and accurate documentation according to project standards.Essential Functions This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.Gather and analyze project requirements using various methods such as analytical, interviewing, and data gathering techniques; understanding of current systems and analysis of business operations; and business-modeling methods.Develop and implement test plans/scenarios to ensure successful project delivery.Provide support to various business and technology teams as necessary during design, development and delivery to ensure solid, scalable, robust solutions.Help identify, assess and mitigate risks associated with each solution/design accurately.Prepare communication plans and reports for key stakeholders.Based on user requirements, prepare proposals for 3rd party vendors and consultants and evaluate potential solutions based on identified criteria.Coach, mentor, and train staff on project analysis and management methodology.Assist in creating and developing policies and procedures for business analysis and project management.Assist with developing long term strategic goals and planning.Backup to Production Scheduler.Performs other duties as requested by the VP of Production.Must attend all company required training. QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Bachelor's degree in business administration or management or comparable work experienceMust be 18 yrs or older5 + yrs prior experience in a production or continuous improvement role in food manufacturingExcellent communication skillsMS Office, Word, Excel, Access, etc. AbilitiesAbility to problem-solve and apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Ability to read and write English. Moderate level math skills; above basic math computations.Moderate computer skills; above basic MS office experience. Able to be a self-starter in a production or office environment.
