Warranty Specialist

Our client, one of the world's largest automotive manufacturers, is hiring a Warranty Specialist to join their claims processing department in Auburn Hills, MI. This team reviews and pays warranty claims and works with dealerships to produce clarity on offerings. As a Specialist, you will analyze warranty policies and procedures in effect at the time of repair. Requirements:Provide direction and support to Dealers, field staff, and corporate employees via phone and email support to ensure that warranty data is correctly submitted, reviewed, and paid in a timely manner.Provides clarification on Warranty coverage, eligibility, and policy by providing instructions on where to obtain needed information for proper claim coding and processing. Adjust and approve claims for payment, and follow through to ensure that claim adjustments are accepted and implemented via the Warranty Audit Trail when the claim is paid.Ensure system is up-to-date to handle a smooth and accurate claim process to avoid unnecessary rejections and also review claims that fail system edits.Track warranty trends, train dealer staff, new corporate employees, and field employeesRequirements: 2+ years of dealer warranty claim experienceExperience reviewing technical warranty dataExperience adjusting claims Experience training dealerships on warranty processes
