Job Title:Facility Security Officer Department: Legal & Risk Management Reports to: General Counsel Job Location: Global Headquarters - Morristown NJ Job Role and Requirements: Security ComplianceManage all aspects of the facility security program for parent company cage code and subsidiary cage code Ensure adherence to the provisions of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)Create, execute, and monitor security policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with National Industrial Security Program (NISP) requirementsServe as the Insider Threat Program Security Officer (ITPSO)Maintain DCSA compliant Insider Threat Program Ensure compliance as per awarded DD254s and prepare subcontractor DD254sSubmit Changed Condition Package to DCSA via National Industrial Security System (NISS) Report suspicious contacts, foreign resumes and adverse information to DCSA and/or CISA Conduct annual self-inspections, track and implement corrective actionsPrepare for DCSA Security Vulnerability Assessments (SVAs) and onsite assessmentsMaintain effective professional working relationships with government agencies, personnel, clients and executive teamRemain current on changes to the National Security Program process and systemsSecurity AdministrationInitiate new security clearance investigations and CV Update investigationsSubmit visit requests (VARs) via DISS and submit VALs to clients via email as requestedAdminister personnel security indoctrinations, initial briefings, courier briefings, foreign travel briefings, annual refresher briefings, NATO briefings, COMSEC briefings, CNDWI briefings and security debriefings Facilitate all security training - CI Awareness Training, CUI Training, Insider Threat Training, Refresher TrainingPrepare and distribute monthly security newsletters and educational seriesPrepare and submit incident reports appropriatelyMaintain facility security files such as SF328, DD441, DD254, KMP, and other files appropriatelyMaintain personnel security files such as signed briefings, training certificates and other files appropriatelyServe as the primary point of contact for DCSA correspondenceCertifications: Active DoDTop Secret Security Clearance • Facility Security Officer (FSO) Certification Insider Threat Program Security Officer (ITPSO) Certification Personally Identifiable Information (PII) Training CertificateCyber Awareness Training CertificateSkills and Qualifications: Ability to hold a US Security Clearance Thorough knowledge and understanding of NISPOM Rule (32 CFR Part 117)Proficiency in using all applicable security systems (DISS, NBIS, NISS)Accurate understanding of other security systems (eApp, SWFT)Ability to use available resources (CDSE, DCSA, AVS, IS Reps)High professional standards for confidentiality, dependability, and quality of work Ability to assess issues promptly and implement effective, proactive solutionsStrong Organizational and Problem-Solving skillsArtech LLC is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate because of age, color, disability, ethnicity, marital or family status, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, military veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
