We represent clients throughout the United States. Qualified candidates must possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational and writing skills, and a professional appearance. Candidates must also thrive under pressure, have the ability to multi-task, and be self-motivated. We are not a remote workplace, and our hours are minimum M-F 9AM to 6PM.Responsibilities:Handle personal injury case files from start to finishEvaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordinglyDraft, review, and modify claims, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documentsResearch case law and premises liability, and gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the caseCommunicate with clients, expert witnesses, insurance company adjusters, supporting witnesses, and medical providers to gather informationNegotiate suitable agreements and settle on the clients' behalf when appropriateRepresent the client at hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and litigationDocument and update the status of all case files in the case management systemManage a team including paralegals and legal assistantsQualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) and Texas state bar membership requiredCandidate must have at least one (1) year of experience, preferably experience with handling personal injury casesRequirements (Must Have):Strong client-facing experience in any field; ability to communicate clearly with our clients is a mustCase management skills including a strong aptitude for managing and prioritizing multiple clients, projects and deadlinesPreferential consideration for deposition, hearing and mediation experienceSuperior organization skills with great follow throughAbility to multi-task and prioritize appropriatelyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSolid analytical, problem solving and decision-making skillsDeadline and detail-orientedPacer experience and Excel skills are helpful
