Merchandising PlannerRetailContract through July 2025$32.00 - $37.90 per hourMonday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMHybrid; in-office 3-4 days a weekColumbus, OhioWhat you'll be doing:Serve as the business manager for a smaller or less complex business book (collection of Sub-Brands or Classes of merchandise)Responsible for translating the Merchant's vision into viable plans and profitable resultsDevelops and maintains sales, inventory, and margin plans that tie to financial targets for an assigned book of businessPlanning responsibilities will include Sub-Brand, Category/Class, and assortment plansPartners with the Merchant & Planner to optimize the assortment by cluster and channels of distribution (Stores, Internet, Catalogue, Wholesale)Collaborate with the Demand Forecaster to ensure that demand plans incorporate statistically based forecasts, merchandise plans, and business knowledge.Who we're looking for: Bachelor's degree in finance, operations, economics, business, statistics or equivalent experienceLess than 2+ years of experience in retail merchandise planning, demand planning, inventory management, allocation or replenishment, financial planning, or financial analysis experienceProficient in Microsoft Excel
