Our client, a $2B service provider, is searching for an (IN OFFICE)IT Procurement Manager in Atlanta (Buckhead). This role will require a minimum of 3 days in the office in Buckhead. The IT Procurement Manager plays a critical role in driving exceptional cost savings, with a focus on enhancing EBITDA, while establishing and maintaining robust governance, contract management, and procurement processes within the IT department. This position requires an independent, consultative approach to collaborating with the IT Leadership Team and Business Unit Leaders to negotiate and manage IT contracts. A strong emphasis on risk management is essential to ensure IT suppliers uphold the company's commitments to its clients.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead and own the contract negotiation process for IT, including the negotiation strategy, RFP process, value identification and performance against the contract post-signing.Work closely with Finance to understand the budget; ensuring associated processes are operating within expected thresholds.Track and record all IT savings, including cost reduction; show procurement ROI on monthly reporting.Create purchase requisitions; obtain and review competitive bids, quotes, and proposals from vendors and contractors; discuss evaluations and review with requesters and subject matter experts.Undertake detailed analytical analysis where required to quantify, communicate, and tracks costs and benefits. Provide pricing quotes for items and preparing orders with suppliers.Research websites and contact vendors to gather technical information and prices on supplies and equipment.Identify future opportunities for savings.Work with the Director of Procurement and CTO to ensure the company has a robust and sustainable framework for both IT Procurement and supplier management.Provide advice, information and guidance on IT procurement and service management by providing governance and support of best practices, ensuring that processes are implemented in a consistent manner and monitored in respect to time, cost, quality, and scope requirements.Lead the development and implementation of policies, procedures, systems, and performance management frameworks for IT service management related activity.Manage the reporting of all contracts including renewals, initiation, and vendor performance management / SLAs.Ensure that suppliers meet their contractual compliance and cybersecurity obligations in line with client obligations.Responsible for product support and warranties, leasing, maintenance, and software contracts, as well as hardware purchases, and license information; responsible for maintaining contract data.Establish and maintain relationships with various suppliers and outsourced providers to ensure holistic, integrated approach is taken to the design, oversight, and development of services.Lead the governance and management of supplier meetings to ensure the tracking of financial performance of suppliers against key performance indicators.Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with service providers to create a 'one team' culture.Perform all other duties as assigned.Essential QualificationsBachelor's degree preferably in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Technology or related discipline. A Minimum of seven years of Procurement experience with at least three years in IT Procurement (Technology, infrastructure, Networking, Cloud and Security) Certification in Software License Management a plus but not required.Skills and CompetenciesMust demonstrate excellence in managing internal customers; skilled in institutionalizing stakeholder communications for input and alignment; well-honed "radar" for stakeholder management.Must have experience with software licensing and volume purchasing agreements for major enterprise system software suppliers; experience in planning and conducting software license audits & reconciliations.Must have excellent negotiation skills up to the executive level and an understanding of contractual negotiation, development, and law.Ability to manage and prioritize critical activities independently in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment.Must have effective communication and relationship-building skills required.Must have high level of competency in key applications, including, but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint
