Akkodis is seeking an automotive Design Engineer II for a 12+ month contract job with a client in Raymond, OH. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience making 3D designs and 2D drawings of automotive electrical components from initial concept through mass production.Rate Range: $42.00/hour to $48.00/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Design Engineer II job responsibilities include:Creating 3D designs and 2D drawings of automotive electrical components from initial concept through mass productionDesign vision systems and radar, sensors for safety systems and related control units with mounting brackets Design feasibility, cost analysis, strength calculations, part construction, part specification Scheduling and coordinating activities involved in prototyping, fabricating, and manufacturing of assigned systemDesired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering3D CAD software experience, CATIA is preferredMinimum of 5 years of professional experience with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)Extensive prototyping experienceIf you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
