Come join the team with an amazing history and a great future!About the Role:The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient, and effective maintenance of all equipment and machinery used in the food processing operations. The role involves managing a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and minimizing downtime by implementing preventive maintenance programs. The supervisor will work closely with production and quality control teams to maintain high standards of product quality while optimizing equipment performance to maximize production efficiency.Responsibilities:Supervise and lead the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and efficiencyDevelop and implement a preventive maintenance (PM) using Maximo (CMMS) for all machinery and equipment in the facility to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.Oversee the troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, and automated systems in processing lines, packaging equipment, and other critical infrastructure.Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards, food safety regulations (such as HACCP & SQF), and environmental guidelines.Develop and manage a comprehensive maintenance schedule to optimize machine uptime and avoid production delaysMaintain an inventory of critical spare parts and materials, ensuring that necessary items are available for timely repairsContinuously evaluate equipment performance to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements or cost savingsMaintain accurate and detailed maintenance logs and records, documenting all work completed on equipment, including repairs, inspections, and replacementsCollaborate with external service providers, contractors, and vendors for specialized repairs.Lead the teams to troubleshoot and repair machinery during unplanned downtime.Qualifications:Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance, or a related field preferred.Required Skills:Strong leadership and team management abilities.In-depth knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment, including automated systems, conveyors, boilers, and refrigeration units. (Chester Jensen kettle, AB Busse depalls, whallon palletizers, Lantech stretch wrappers, Garvey table conveyors, Angelus seamers, Elmar fillers)Experience with preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems.Familiarity with food safety and regulatory requirements (FDA, SQF, USDA, HACCP, OSHA, etc.).Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Ability to use computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS-MAXIMO) for tracking work orders and maintenance records.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Pay range and compensation package:Compensation/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experience, Excellent benefits package: Medical (shared premium); Dental, Vision, Life & Dep Life, STDI, EAP (100% company paid); Vol. Life, LTDI (employee paid), Retirement Plans, Vacation, Holidays, and Great Team!Equal Opportunity Statement:Applicant Notice: Morgan Foods, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
