Litigation Associate

Position Overview:We are seeking a Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join our growing Miami office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance defense, with at least 3 years of experience handling a broad range of litigation matters. This is an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious firm with a supportive team environment and a diverse client base.Key Responsibilities:Handle insurance defense cases from inception through trial, including personal injury, property damage, and other liability matters.Provide strategic legal counsel and defend clients in litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials, ensuring the best possible outcome.Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategy, including settlement discussions and trial preparation.Communicate directly with clients, adjusters, and other stakeholders, ensuring consistent updates on case progress.Research and analyze legal issues to provide sound advice to clients.Maintain accurate and timely case files and billing records.Qualifications:JD from an accredited law school.3 years + of experience in insurance defense litigation.Strong knowledge of Florida insurance laws and regulations.Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.Proven ability to manage a caseload, work independently, and meet deadlines.Experience handling depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.Admission to the Florida Bar.What We Offer:Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Opportunity to work on a diverse range of insurance defense matters.A supportive and collaborative work environment.Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.Flexible work-life balance options, including hybrid and remote work arrangements.
