Construction Superintendent

Employee owned commercial general contractor with 75 year history seeks a Construction Superintendent with 10+ years of experience. Superintendents are responsible for the daily management, supervision, coordination and successful completion of construction projects to meet time and cost objectives. Excellent communication and scheduling skills are considered essential.Responsibilities:Schedule subcontractors, consultants and vendors to ensure timely completion of the workEnsure subcontractors are fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of workCreate plan for executing the building of construction projectsCommunicate with the project team regarding ASI's, RFI's and site conflictsCoordinate required inspections with local jurisdictionsMaintain daily log of activities on the jobsitePerform quality control review of all work in placeEnsure that job site is kept in a clean and organized mannerIdentify and communicate subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health and environmental quality standardsPreside over weekly subcontractor meetings to coordinate the workInterface with project inspectors, subcontractors, architects, engineers and clientsMaintain high standards of workmanship and adhere to the plans and specificationsSupervise and manage onsite self perform trade personnelQualifications:10+ Years of previous experience in construction managementStrong background in plumbing, mechanical and electrical infrastructureFamiliarity with construction management software (ACC, CMiC, Procore or similar)Strong leadership qualitiesDeadline and detail-orientedCompensation is commensurate with experienceExcellent health and retirement benefits
