Lending Specialist

Position: Deal Closing SpecialistLocaton: Newark, DEPay Range: $23 - $25/hr.Duration: 6-9 Months (Extension and FTE Conversion based on performance)Hours: Mon-Fri 9 am-6 pmJob Description: The Deal Closing Specialist is responsible for setting up and funding corporate syndicated loan transactions for Commercial Bank and Corporate & Investment Bank clients using the LoanIQ product processor. This role involves direct communication with attorneys, borrowers, lenders, and internal teams to support the operational aspects of syndicated loan closings and funding.Responsibilities:• Provide deal origination and execution support to Debt Capital Markets and Credit Risk Management.• Review legal documentation for operational feasibility.• Initiate system setup for new deals, including lender and borrower contact and account/funding details.• Manage the process of contacting investors and obtaining administrative information for new deals.• Initiate initial funding on new deals and restructurings; manage the funding process with Corporate Treasury, syndicate lenders, etc.• Process system changes for documented loan amendments and modifications.• Manage a pipeline of assigned closing transactions, potentially handling multiple transactions closing in a single day.• Support ad-hoc projects and manager-assigned tasks.• Support daily, weekly, and monthly controls and metrics reporting.Qualifications:Must Have:• 2+ years of experience in Financial Services (Loans, Credit), Legal, or Business Consulting industry.• General accounting knowledge.• Experience reading and interpreting loan documentation or related experience dealing with documentation.• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).• Exceptional communication skills, with experience communicating with senior-level external contacts and professional email writing.• Experience working in a team environment.Soft Skills:• Team-oriented individual.• Highly organized with the ability to manage a variety of tasks.• Excellent communication skills.• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and judgment skills.Nice-To-Have:• Commercial Banking experience.• Syndicated Loans experience.• LoanIQ experience.About Us:Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
