Quality Analyst (Medicaid/Medicare)

One of our clients in the Government domain is Seeking a QA Tester, who will be responsible for testing eligibility rules, reports, and integrations for the Ohio Benefits System. The role requires experience in manual and automated testing, defect lifecycle management, and test execution. The candidate will work closely with stakeholders, ensuring all testing is conducted per project requirements and industry best practices.QA Tester (Medicaid/Medicare)Location: Columbus, OH (Onsite)Responsibilities:Perform functional, integration, and regression testing.Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scripts using Selenium and Cucumber.Utilize test management tools for test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.Validate eligibility rules for Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, and Child Care programs.Conduct reports testing and integration testing.Ensure compliance with formal QA processes and industry best practices.Coordinate QA activities for software releases.Track defects and follow up until resolution.Provide test outcome feedback to the System Integrator.Collaborate with stakeholders and respond to inquiries professionally.Required Skills:7+ years of experience with HHS Eligibility Systems and Policy.7+ years of experience in Medicaid and SNAP/TANF benefits testing.7+ years of experience writing and executing test scripts.Experience with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and defect lifecycle management.Proficiency in test management software.Strong knowledge of Selenium, Cucumber, and automation testing.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Excellent communication skills.
