Duties and Responsibilities:Support all aspects of recruiting for the Company including but not limited to:Locate qualified, potential applicants using databases or online job posting boardsCommunicate with potential applicants by phone, email, or in personScreen resumes and interview candidates for various positions within an organizationCreate job announcements that list requirements for each job, such as desired work experience, education, and job skillsApply principles of behavioral interviewing to access the qualifications of candidatesInvestigate referrals and references sources to formulate a well-rounded view of applicantsEstablish and maintain professional relationships with colleges and local organizations to participate in job fairs or networking eventsPrepare attracting hiring packages and communicate with selected applicants to offer employmentMake staffing / hiring recommendationSet key recruiting policiesNegotiate salary and benefits with candidatesCommunicate with managers cross-functionally to coordinate and schedule interviewsExercise discretion or independent judgment on a regular basis, including but not limited to, by recruiting, interviewing, negotiating compensation, and recommending to hire candidates. Maintain employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidentialCoordinate and facilitate New Hire Orientation for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company Ensure all necessary paperwork (e.g., tax forms, contracts) is completed accurately and in compliance with legal and company requirementsWork closely with hiring managers and other departments to ensure all necessary tools, equipment, and access are ready for new employeesCreate a positive and engaging experience for new hires to help them feel welcomed and supported throughout the onboarding processMaintain and track onboarding progress, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for process improvementMaintain accurate record-keeping of all applicants and retention files for required periodMaintain quality service by following organization standards Enforce company policies through effective and efficient communicationSupport all aspects of the Human Resources Department in administrative tasks such as data entry, organizing, scanning, labeling, and filing HR documentsAssist with the day-to-day efficient operations of the HR office Other duties as assignedQualifications and Experience:Education requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources preferredMinimum 3 years of experience in recruiting, within the manufacturing industry is preferred.Good communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organizing skillsMust be able to exercise good judgementSignificant recruiting experience for a high-volume organization, agency, or executive search firm strongly preferredWillingness to use cold or warm calling methods to recruit or research potential applicantsFamiliarity with applicant tracking systems and social media applicationsExcellent analytical skills to track metrics and interpret data for strategic recruiting campaignsA professional, courteous demeanor on the phone and in-personAn impeccable public image, including on social mediaStrong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to network and establish professional relationshipsAvailability to travel within the United States to attend job fairs and networking eventsAbility to work under pressure and prioritize in a demanding, fast-paced environment with strict deadlinesProficiency in MS Windows with MS Office Application (Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgmentAbility to perform well in a fast-paced work environmentBenefits Overview:Holiday PayPaid Time OffHealth InsuranceVision InsuranceDental InsuranceLife InsuranceFlexible Spendings Account (FSA)401k
