Real Estate Senior Legal Counsel

Requirements: 5- 8 years PQESalary: $175,000 - 195,000 fixed per annumSector: Destination-based travelPosition Overview:The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced legal generalist with a strong background in real estate or land use law. They should be comfortable navigating both state and federal regulatory frameworks, with a proven ability to quickly adapt to new areas of law and business.Responsibilities:Offer legal guidance and support to senior leadership on a range of legal matters, many relating to property rights, development projects, and regulatory compliance.Proactively recognize emerging legal trends across operations and develop strategies to minimize risk.Stay up to date with relevant state and federal regulations that affect resort operations, providing support and advice to the Company's compliance team on associated compliance initiatives.Oversee complex real estate development transactions as required.Collaborate with other departments to help shape company policies, procedures, and best practices.Qualifications:An active state bar license is mandatory.
