The Senior Instructional Designer joins a strong and cohesive team which values growth mindset, collaboration through inclusion, and inspired solutions.Reporting to the Senior Director of Learning & Development, the Senior Instructional Designer is the first point of contact for all learning design requests, will oversee the entire content library including accuracy, be responsible for designing and developing compelling and effective learning solutions using sound instructional design methodology and applied adult learning theories and lead an Instructional Designer.ResponsibilitiesMaintains and organizes content library Ensures accurate assignment of courses occurCoordinating with HRIS analyst for course assignment launch First point-of-contact for all learning design requestsProvide consultation to varied stakeholders across ELS, clarifying learning needs and determining appropriate design solutions to address these issues.Develop e-learning courses, training guides, job aids, print and multi-media materials for instructor-led training in both live and virtual environmentsPartner with the Senior Director of Learning & Development on company-wide requests.Employ a variety of design and delivery methods to meet the needs of learners. Remain current with modern adult learning approaches.Leads safety & compliance training program, working with senior leaders and legal advisory team.Facilitates in-person and virtual workshopsReflect good practices in instructional design and the use of educational technologies, including face-to-face delivery, action learning, e-learning courses, gamification, videos, virtual instructor-led training with a focus on incorporating a variety of media and learning methods to create an effective learning environment. Manage and monitor key learning metrics to determine efficacy of learning approaches, providing and incorporating recommendations for improvements. Manage vendor relationships and expectations as appropriate.Experience5+ years of professional experienceAbility to design and implement effective training and development using either the ADDIE, SAM, or agile methodsProficient experience with Articulate 360 and Adobe Creative SuiteProficient experience recording and editing audio using software such as Audacity or equivalentProject management experience with proven results.Proven ability to provide guidance, consultation, and solutions to colleagues at various levelsCertificates, Licenses, RegistrationsInstructional Design, L&D and/or Project Management certification preferred but not required (i.e., ATD Master Instructional Designer, CPTD, PMP)Other relevant certifications may include consulting, advanced design, instructional technology, or talent management (i.e., CMC, SHRM-CP)Who is ELS?We invite you to visit our web site at for additional information regarding our exceptional resort communities.As an Equal Opportunity Employer, we welcome and thank all applicants.Estimated compensation for this position is:Salary: $75,000 - $85,000The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. A salary offer will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to the base pay and our benefits, some positions are eligible for bonuses, sales commissions, or incentive pay.
