Illinois LCSW Supervisor OverviewAnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated LCSW Supervisor (must be licensed in Illinois) to support and mentor new-graduate Social Workers in their first few years of practice. This role involves providing high-quality clinical supervision to School Social Workers, guiding their professional growth, and ensuring they deliver impactful services to K-12 students. The ideal candidate is an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois and is passionate about nurturing early-career professionals and fostering a culture of continuous learning and support.As an LCSW Supervisor, you will provide structured supervision group sessions to new Social Workers on our team, focusing on case consultation, skill development, ethical practice and ASWB exam preparation. You'll collaborate with our Clinical Director to ensure that our Social Workers receive the support they need to thrive. If you're a compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a deep commitment to developing the next generation of School Social Workers, we'd love to hear from you!Key Responsibilities & Supervision Guidelines:Provide virtual clinical supervision in alignment with Illinois licensure requirements for LCSW candidates, ensuring supervisees complete the required hours of post-MSW supervised experience.Follow National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Best Practice Standards in Social Work Supervision, promoting ethical, professional, and evidence-based practices.Conduct two 1-hour long supervision groups each week via Zoom with AnthroMed's team of supervisees.Support Social Workers in navigating school-based mental health services, crisis intervention, and special education compliance.Maintain compliance with Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR), LCSW supervision requirements, including record-keeping and structured evaluations.After-school availability to host virtual clinical supervision groups on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4-5pm CSTEncourage professional growth by guiding new Social Workers in developing their therapeutic approaches, intervention techniques, and advocacy skills within school settings.Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring that new Social Workers feel empowered and confident in their roles.RequirementsMasters Degree in Social Work required.Current LCSW in Illinois license required.Experience as a successful practicing School Social Worker in a K-12 school setting is required. Illinois PEL preferred. Confidence with technology, video call screen sharing, and presentation preparation.
