The Social Media Content Creator & Editor will lead the development of high-impact, engaging, and trend-driven content across Perform and select portfolio companies/clients. This role blends creative vision, content strategy, and technical execution to craft compelling stories that drive engagement, brand awareness, and community growth. You will be responsible for end-to-end content creation, from ideation to production and publishing, ensuring that every piece stands out in today's fast-paced digital landscape.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a content roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and audience engagement goals.Conceptualize, storyboard, and produce engaging multimedia content, including short-form videos, reels, photography, carousels, GIFs, and motion graphics tailored for social platforms.Shoot and edit high-quality video and photography, ensuring professional-grade production values and storytelling impact.Write compelling, on-brand copy to accompany visual content, maintaining consistency in messaging and tone.Manage and optimize content across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.), ensuring each post is tailored to platform-specific audiences and trends.Stay ahead of social media trends and emerging formats, leveraging viral moments and new platform features to enhance engagement.Collaborate with teams across marketing, creative, and product departments, ensuring content aligns with broader brand initiatives.Analyze content performance using insights and data to optimize future content strategies and maximize reach.Maintain a consistent visual aesthetic and brand identity, ensuring all content reflects the brand's creative direction.Engage with online communities and influencers to amplify reach and foster organic brand advocacy.What You BringExpertise in videography, photography, and content editing with a portfolio showcasing visually compelling, high-performing content.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, Lightroom) or other industry-standard editing software.Ability to create motion graphics and basic animation to enhance storytelling (a plus).A deep understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and engagement strategies.An eye for storytelling and aesthetics, with strong creative direction.Strong copywriting skills, capable of writing captions, hooks, and scripts that drive engagement.Experience with content scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Sprout Social, Hootsuite) and performance analytics platforms.A self-starter mindset, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.This is not just a content creation role"”it's an opportunity to shape the digital identity of an innovative brand, push creative boundaries, and set new trends in social media storytelling.
