Swoon is hiring for our Retail Apparel and Fashion client in Reynoldsburg, OH.This is a 4-month contract opportunity with Benefits - Health, Dental & Vision (50% of premium is covered for contractor).About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Merchandise Planner to serve as the business manager for a smaller or less complex book of business, consisting of a collection of sub-brands or merchandise classes. In this role, you will be responsible for developing financial strategies that align with merchant vision, driving sales, optimizing inventory, and maximizing profitability across multiple distribution channels.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sales, inventory, and margin plans that align with financial targets for an assigned book of business.Collaborate closely with Merchants and Planners to optimize assortments by cluster and across distribution channels, including Stores, E-commerce, Catalog, and Wholesale.Partner with Demand Forecasters to integrate statistical forecasts, merchandise plans, and business insights into demand planning.Analyze sales trends, inventory levels, and market data to make informed recommendations that drive revenue and improve profitability.Ensure strategic alignment between financial plans and merchandising initiatives to maximize growth opportunities.If interested in more details, please apply!
