Job Summary: The Logistics Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our transportation and logistics operations across multiple regions. This position will be responsible for coordinating shipments, ensuring timely delivery, and leveraging technology to streamline processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate and oversee the transportation and delivery of construction materials and products across the US, Canada, Mexico, and Europe.Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to centralize transportation operations and capture synergies within the enterprise.Utilize advanced technology and software to monitor and manage shipments, track inventory, and optimize routes.Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, production, and sales, to ensure seamless logistics operations.Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to schedule deliveries, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships.Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including safety and environmental guidelines.Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including shipping records, invoices, and customs paperwork.Assist in the development and implementation of logistics policies and procedures.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably within the construction industry.Proficiency in logistics software and technology, including transportation management systems (TMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures is a plus.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
