In this role there are opportunities for development of skills, knowledge, and processes in both an office setting and to some extent in medicine due to our relationship with the healthcare industry.THE JOBThe purpose of the Logistics Supervisor role is to oversee the work of employees on the Logistics team, to organise and monitor workflow by assigning responsibilities, monitoring performance, and identifying ways to improve efficiency to maximise Logistics outcomes. Overseas daily operations for inventory, distribution, transportation and other processes that support the achievement of Limbs & Things organizational goals and KPIs. The role holder is responsible for day-to-day management of employees in their department, including coaching and training employees, and working closely with the Operations Director, they will recruit and induct new employees. The role includes supply chain management and working closely with our suppliers to maintain relationships and a consistent flow of inventory in and out of the business. This person leads by providing the best example of world class customer service combined with thoughtful decision making by always keeping the company's policies and mission in mind. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIESKey TasksMonitor inventory forecasts and manage monthly container orders.Train new staff on policies and procedures.Oversee customer shipments to ensure timely and accurate dispatch.Review and post daily inventory counts.Manage supplier orders, track overdue products, and resolve issues.Coordinate with shipping carriers and ensure transport compliance.Supervisory & Team SupportAssist in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting new hires.Provide policy guidance, system support, and task supervision.Coach and support team members.Assist warehouse operations, supplier invoice reconciliation, and demo bookings.Support national tradeshow bookings and budget reporting.Provide product and logistics support to Customer Service.Communicate supplier lead times and product availability.Handle customer queries on shipments and product availability.Collaborate with Headquarters on product information and availability.Contribute to business and process improvements.ReportingPrepare weekly, monthly, and audit-related logistics reports.Track budget and submit expense reports.TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree and at least 5 years of customer service experience in a professional office settingExperience in supply chain management and warehouse supervision preferredExcellent communication skills with high level of professionalism Ability to coach and mentor logistics team members Strong problem-solving skills and flexibility to learn and adapt to challengesAbility to resolve issues in a calm, supportive and positive wayExceptional organizational skills, familiarity with best practices in filing and record keepingKnowledge of general business computer software and aptitude to learn ERP and CRM software applications.Able to work on own initiative, keen to explore new ideas in the improvements of the departmentVery strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerAble to safely lift and handle products up to 40 lbsTHE PACKAGE - WHATS IN IT FOR YOU?National Holidays and PTOHealth Insurance (with full employer paid option)Dental, Vision, FSA/HSA and a Variety of Supplemental Insurance Options401(k) Plan + Company MatchGroup Life InsuranceCompany sponsored Wellness AppOther benefits include a culture of learning & connection and the opportunity to play a key role in a growing company!If this sounds like an exciting opportunity and you feel you have got what it takes, please send your CV with a covering letter telling us why you consider yourself suitable for the role.
