The Payroll Specialist will manage all payroll functions for our diverse team of more than 3,000 exempt and non-exempt associates. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient with the Workday platform and possess a deep understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and best practices.Primary ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end payroll processing for 3000+ exempt and non-exempt associates using the Workday platform.Ensure accurate and timely payroll calculations, including regular pay, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.Knowledgeable in required payroll reports and filings, including but not limited to tax withholdings, unemployment insurance, and other statutory requirements.Stay updated on changes to payroll legislation and ensure company policies align.Manage and process garnishments, leaves of absences and employment verifications.Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data within the Workday system.Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy.Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and in compliance with data protection regulations.Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.Provide exceptional customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries.Liaise with HR, Finance, and other departments to resolve payroll-related issues.Identify opportunities for process improvements within the payroll function.Create, update, and evaluate document workflow and work procedures.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field2 years of payroll experience, with a significant portion spent using WorkdayProficient in both Microsoft Office Suite and Google WorkspacePreferred experience with Human Resource Information SystemsStrong knowledge of payroll laws and regulationsExcellent attention to detail and strong analytical skillsStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlinesExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsExperience processing payroll for a large, multi-state companyStand Out For Good, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
