People Operations ManagerRedwood City, CA 94063Base Salary Range: $110,000/year - $140,000/year + Equity + BenefitsAs the People Operations Manager you'll have a meaningful impact by supporting our Team to succeed in their roles by being the first point of contact for questions and managing critical people programs. This role will report directly to the Corporate Controller. You'll collaborate closely with our Finance, IT, and Leadership team to manage ongoing projects and deliver strategic people support companywide. This role will oversee all aspects of people practices and processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that our company attracts, hires, develops, and retains the best employees while fostering a positive company culture.This hybrid role entails working in the office 2 days per week in our Redwood City HQ.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY:Own the employee lifecycle including Pre-boarding, On-boarding, and Off-boardingBe the go-to person to support our team with any benefit, working norms, and policy questionsOwn our HRIS (ADP Workforce now) and People Team Tech Stack to ensure accurate data around people changes and updatesAnalyze and report monthly and quarterly People metrics and demographics to measure impact, identify trends, and provide valuable insights to the leadership teamManage and maintain the People Team Intranet page (SharePoint)Respond to audit, unemployment, and employment verification requestsIn addition to the day to day, key responsibilities include:Recruitment and Staffing: Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, partner with hiring managers and recruiters, and onboard new employeesTalent Management: Implement talent review process, support managers with employee feedback, develop performance improvement plans, and manage employee engagement surveysTraining and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs to enhance employee skills and career growthCompensation and Benefits: Partner on payroll, administer employee benefits, participate in audit processes, and ensure competitive compensation practicesCompliance: Ensure all HR practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Manage all immigration mattersREQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareProficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferredAt least 5-7 years of experience in HR management or generalist roles, preferably in a high growth organization.
