Job Title: Business Risk Intermediate AnalystLocation: Tampa, FL - 2 days onsite HybridDuration: 04 months initial contract with potential extension for longer termAbout Client:The Client organization is dedicated to empowering our clients' growth by deeply understanding and anticipating their needs and by harnessing the full power of Client. The organization takes a firmwide view of our client strategy, segmentation, and coverage model to ensure every client receives the same high-quality coverage and delivery of services from every part of Client.Client continues to enhance its business control and governance framework by building out Client as a 1st Line of Defense, to house and consistently manage MCA & control activities performed across its Client organization. Client was established with the objective to provide an integrated "end-to-end" identification, measurement, management, and monitoring for the various Client businesses across the global enterprise.This role will report into the In-Business Central Controls & Enhancement Lead in the Client Organization CAO and will focus on testing and enhancing the control framework while becoming the subject matter expert in specific areas. This also includes assisting in the development of strategic solutions to address any deficiencies in the wider Client Org monitoring controls framework (e.g., RCSA/MCA, Issues Management) and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and with firm policies and standards.Role Overview:The Business Risk Intermediate Analyst is a developing professional role. The candidate will deal with most problems independently and have some latitude to solve complex issues. The role integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices.A good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others to accomplish objectives is required. The role involves analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies, with attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on factual analysis.The position typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact, requiring professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are necessary for exchanging potentially complex or sensitive information.This role has a moderate but direct impact through close contact with business core activities. The quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of the team and other closely related teams.Responsibilities:Execute the Managers Control Assessment (MCA) program, including planning, testing, and reporting.Test and monitor key controls identified for each product line and document results.Liaise with business and line control officers on deficiencies or control gaps and ensure appropriate remedial actions are in place.Document, implement, and execute Corrective Action Plans (CAP) for managing control issues.Assess risk in business decisions, safeguarding Client, its clients, and assets by ensuring compliance with laws, rules, and regulations.Adhere to company policies and apply sound ethical judgment in business practices.Escalate, manage, and report control issues transparently.Qualifications:2-5 years of relevant experience in risk, compliance, audit, or regulatory functions.Experience working with various risk and control systems and reporting requirements.Strong project management skills with excellent organizational abilities.Ability to prioritize, adapt to change, and solve problems effectively.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.Self-motivated and detail-oriented.Education:Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
