Space Planning SpecialistLocationHybrid onsite schedule in Culver City, CADuration6 months; potential to extendPayup to $51.95/hour, DOEPlanet Interactive is seeking a Space Planning Specialist to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 6-month contract. This role will be 40 hours per week and is hybrid in Culver City.ResponsibilitiesSupport the space program lead by coordinating and executing various space planning initiatives and special projects across studios globally to accommodate staffing needs and other business requirements.Support program lead with gathering space needs from teams - align requests to long-range workplace strategy plansSupport quarterly space forecastingMaintain accurate digital floor maps for each of the studio locationsHandle day-to-day issues and troubleshooting of seating challengesNavigate competing priorities and manage negotiations between teams as neededManage requests for moves, adds, and changes with facilitiesEnsure changes are documented and communicated to impacted partiesProactively identify and escalate issues appropriately, and participate in their resolutionPartner with program lead to effectively manage occupancy plans, ratios, headcount projections, and report to stakeholdersMonitor, analyze, and interpret large data sets. Generate ad hoc reports as requested.Coordinate with partners to manage relocations, including the development and execution of project planning activities, timing of group moves/relocations, migration and phasing plans, stack and block plans, test-fits, and relocationQualificationsBA/BS or equivalent experience.3+ years of prior experience in coordination, project management or space planning of creative spaces preferredDetail-oriented with a real passion for organizationSuperb written and verbal communication skillsAbility to effectively interact with all levels of an organization and management and ability to build external networksThrives in a fast-paced and informal environmentKeen ability to grasp complexity quickly and to focus on key issuesStrong analytical skills - interpreting large data sets and using data to weigh trade-offsService-oriented approach - Desire to deliver innovative and exceptional customer-focused solutionsOutstanding communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization Familiarity with workplace management solutions, e.g., Tririga
